Duties and responsibilities: Optometrists examine eyes and they also diagnose things involving the eye. They also help patients understand how to wear eye contacts and how to take care of their eyes properly. They also provide treatment for the eyes such as vision therapy.

Salary: $103,900 a year

Education: Optometrists need a Doctor of Optometry degree(4 years)  and 3 more years of education in the field of chemistry,biology,  and physics

Demand or need for this profession:Growing 27% from 2014-2024  

Reflection: I would not like to be one because it is too much school.
