" Many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain, but it isn't" -  George Mitchell
I think this statement is true. The reason being is because although you think you are doing good and doing things to better yourself you are going to feel worse. For example cheating to get good grades, you might feel smart at first but sooner or later you will feel dumb. When an assignment where you can't actually cheat on comes you will sit there regretting it and thinking you are actually dumb. You will feel very bad about cheating because you realized you did not actually improve you just took the easy route. Cheating in sports is a horrible thing also. An example would be using steroids, you will think you are the best at first. As time passes on you will then realize you are not the best if you needed that substance to succeed. You will then realize that you need to work hard to be the best and you will feel bad and guilty and whatever award or medal you have will be haunting you. You will feel bad for the others who did not cheat and still did not win the people who have worked hard their entire life. Remember to choose the right and never cheat.
