This statement is very true. Being kind to someone is the best and greatest thing you can do.They might be having a bad day and you can make it better simply by being kind.Greatness equals kindness because when you are great at something you have to be thankful and kind for what other people did for you.Remember to choose the right,and in order to be great you have to be kind.

  Thanksgiving week

For thanksgiving week I really did not do much. I ran on some days, i slept and I ate. I ate lots of things like turkey,pizza,ham and biscuits. I read an interesting story called “Night” for ms.Pinto’s class although it was homework i enjoyed reading it. I watched the movie “white house down” it was about the white house being attacked .I really wanted to watch “ The edge of seventeen “ but i did not get too. I also have to do 3 essays that were very stressful because every time i would try and do them my mind went blank. I also went to my happy place “Disneyland” . I went with my sister for about 2 hours because we have the pass. I also got a new dog, but we leave him at my grandmas house, his name is Kobe he is a German Shepard. Mostly I stayed home or went to my grandmas. When I stayed home i would just watch modern family all day. When i would go to my grandmas i would go with my cousins and just stay in their room.

THIS statement is true.When you are nice and have manners it makes you a presentable person.This means when you say stuff like please and thank you people will like you more and you will seem a lot more presentable. For example lets say you are having an interview.One of the person has manners sit equivalently and says thank you and answers with manners he will most likely get the job.But lets say that a guy with horrible manners goes in he does not dress up nor does he act proper or with manners, he will most likely not get the job unless he is rich or white man. Manners is important to have everywhere and it really does make the man.

This statement is true.When you know something is bad and you still did it , you chose the wrong. For example when you see a nice shirt and your mom does not want to get it for you , so you steal it.That can get you into a lot of trouble by your mom or even the police.When you do bad things you will feel guilty and that will eat you alive. Do yourself a favor and avoid it. DO not say things that are not true because sooner or later you will get caught.A simple lie can also ruin everything or simply cause the person to be more hurt.An example would be telling your friend that her crush likes her back even though it is not true.When she finds out the truth it will hurt her.Choose the right.

                                       THANKSGIVING AND THANKSGIVING DAY

The pilgrims set a village to be in Plymouth.November 21st the harvest season was done and went successfully, so they invited some native Americans to have a big feast.The big feast or celebration lasted about 3 days.The meals were cooked with native american spices and recipes.The Indians and the pilgrims were both thankful for each other.Until the year 1863 Thanksgiving was not a national Holiday.On the first thanksgiving they ate deer,corn and cranberries.Now thanksgiving is celebrated on the last Thursday of t he month of November.

I believe this is sometimes true. You feel better when you earn things fairly and good.However at times things get rough.When you get a bad grade and you studied so hard , it makes you feel unworthy.YOU start cheating and doing other bad stuff.It might be because your parents threatened you if you do not have good grades or it can be something else.NO matter what try and do good things .Try to do what is right because at the  end of the day it helps your self esteem.When you do things that are not right and you win , you will end up being and feeling ashamed.

  

 Veterans Day

Veterans day is a holiday to honor US veterans and victims of people who fought in the world.It is on November 11th.It is important to honor the people fighting for our country because they die for us and they die trying to make our country great and right. A great way to show appreciation is going to be listed below.

1. Write to them  
2. Fly a flag
3. Ask someone from the military about their service
4. Attend a picnic or event about veterans day
5. Donate food or money to help support veterans and their families

I feel like veterans day is a  good thing.These people work so hard foe our county it seems right to honor them.I like that the families are also honored as well because it might be hard not being able to see their children,spouse,or anything like that.So many people have dies for our country also and i feel as if they were heroes. They shouldn’t be forgotten at all because of the sacrifices they made.People who fought for the country should be honored and loved.They are working hard for us everyday they should get at least a day of recognition

I believe this statement is true.When someone offers you weed or something like that and everyone else is doing it you have to have to be your own self .Say  no. Say no to the things that can cause damage to you.NO matter what not knowing the truth can be hurtful.They might be doing it to protect you but even though the truth  hurts it is better than living a lie.When you do not choose to know the truth then your life becomes a lie.When you do the right thing do it for yourself.Also when you do the right thing more people like you and you will be trusted more

I agree with this statement.When you hang out with the right crowd you are basically going to be doing the right thing.The people you hang out with influence your choices a lot.If your friend goes to party when you hang out with the right people you will not be tempted to drink.When you are with the wrong crowd , you will see them all drinking and feel like you need to also.You then make fools out of yourselves because you all are drunk and doing dumb things and no one is looking after you guys. While when you hang out with a good crowd you’re less likely to all do stupid things because you guys think.A bad crowd will most likely get you into trouble whether it be in jail or cause your grades to drop.Remember to choose the right crowd to go with it can affect you in more ways you might think.
